DIESEL · CLASS GUIDE
BR Class 08
Britain’s familiar diesel shunter. The Class 08 is the small diesel most people picture moving wagons around yards and depots. It is a popular model, but the decoder connection changes between older and newer releases—always check the exact product number before buying a decoder.
Check the product code, not just the class. Two models of the same locomotive can use different sockets because they were made in different years or use different tooling.
